Coach Licence Scheme

In addition to coaches achieving a relevant qualification to evidence they have the necessary skills and knowledge, it is essential that they also seek constant education, development and excellence in terms of knowledge and delivery. The Coaching environment is constantly evolving and changing; e.g. new coaching methods; changing equipment and techniques; cultural changes in society, etc., so coaches must keep up to date with these changes.

What pre-requisites do I need?

  • Safeguarding & Protecting Children Workshop – Valid for 3 years
  • Essential First Aid for all ages Course – Valid for 3 years
  • DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service check) – Valid for 3 years
  • CPD (Continuing Personal Development) – Valid for 1 year

How to evidence my pre-requisites

Safeguarding & Protecting Children/Essential First Aid – please email or post a copy of the certificate to – [email protected] or post to Coaching & Performance Department, Table Tennis England, Norfolk House, 88 Saxon Gate West, Milton Keynes, MK9 2DL.

If you attend a Table Tennis England workshops you DO NOT have to evidence this as Head Office are informed of attendance.  Any other CPD courses please send a copy of the certificate as above.
