Coach Licence Scheme


Who is it for?

The Coach Licence Scheme is for existing coaches that wish to become part of a register of more than 300 coaches that Table Tennis England is confident are active and knowledgeable in current coaching methods.

The scheme aims to establish a kite mark for the coaching of table tennis in England and to support the professional development of active coaches.

All coaches registered on the Coach Licence Scheme receive up to £10 Million Public Liability insurance, £50,000 Personal Accident insurance and £25,000 Legal Protection cover, as well as benefiting from discounts and offers exclusive to our coaches.

Any newly qualified coach (UKCC Level 1 only) will receive a complimentary Table Tennis England Coach Licence until the next renewal period. To find out more about coaching and coaching qualifications please click here.


What pre-requisites do I need?

Incentives to become licensed
  • £10 Million Public Liability insurance.
  • Access to the online coach management and learner system.
  • Regular communication regarding coaching developments – Blogs, newsletters etc.
  • Free access to Sports Log – The online player development system, developed by Table Tennis England, enabling users to record information relating to training, nutrition, competitions, injury and goal setting.
  • Free access to regional coach education workshops and CPD topics.

How long does the membership last?

Your Coach Licence Membership will last until November 30th, 2016, at which point a new Coach Licence Scheme will be introduced featuring a rolling membership instead of a fixed renewal date. This means coaches will always get the full value of a 12-month licence for their fee.
