This event is a qualifying competition for the
Butterfly Schools’ National Individual Championship Finals
RULES (Keep for own Information)
1. All players must attend an affiliated school or college and be in full time education.
2. Eight events – Boys and Girls under 19, 16, 13, and 11. Ages as at 1st September 2018.
3. Players may enter ONE EVENT only.
4. Entries to the Organiser by Monday 25th January 2019
Players should report to control by 6 pm for under 11 & 13. 7.15pm for Under 16 & 19.
5. Late arrivals are liable to be scratched.
6. Suitable sportswear MUST be worn. NO WHITE CLOTHING. Tracksuit trousers not to be worn during play unless authorised by the referee.
7. Players will be required to umpire
8. Matches will be played best of 5 games, 11 up changing service after every 2 points. Alternate serves after 10 -10 then 2 clear points to win
9. Under 11’s & Under 13’s start at 6pm Under 16 & under 19 at 7.30pm

No entries will be accepted unless accompanied by the appropriate fees.
It is hoped to play in groups. The number in each group will depend on the size of entry.
The winner of each age group will represent their county in the Butterfly National Schools’ Individual Championships. But, get your young players entered regardless of their playing standard. This is a participation event to see how far they go, and is an experience for all to enjoy.
