The inaugural Weatherby Junior 2 Star table-tennis competition commences at Palatine Leisure Centre, Blackpool on the weekend of the 14/15 December 2013 with some of the country’s best cadet and junior players in attendance. The boys U13 event is particularly strong with 4 out of the top 6 on the current ETTA ranking list in attendance; James Smith (Kent), Harry Dai (Yorkshire), Shayan Siraj (Yorkshire) and Lancashire’s own Amirul Hussain are all in contention for the title.

An excellent 95 entries have been received, 33 for the junior boys competition with 13 entries being submitted for the junior girls. A further 30 for the cadet boys and another 14 entries for the cadet girls.
