Next season’s County Championships will feature a total of 252 teams – up by three on this season’s total of 249.
However, entries have been received from 40 counties, one down on this season.
The Senior section shows no change, with 47 teams entered, the Junior section shows a first increase in numbers several seasons, with two extra teams entered for a total of 51 teams.
The Veterans continue to reduce in numbers, down to 90 teams, while the Over-60s shows an increase of two to 26 teams. The Cadets shows no change at 38 teams.
The composition of the divisions will be announced at the Annual Conference being held at the Woodfield Sports Club, Wolverhampton, on Saturday 7th June.
