Kelsey Andrews found her best form this season which enabled her to win trophies which she received at the Leicester Table Tennis League end of season presentation evening. At 16 the Bosworth Academy student triumphed against quality opposition to win the ladies handicapped Rose Johnson Memorial tournament in great style at her first attempt. In recognition of her relentless efforts to promote table tennis, this versatile young lady was also presented with the Phil Reid award.
Kelsey has been working to promote a ladies table tennis session in an effort to encourage more ladies into the sport whilst together with her brother Dan she has been campaigning to attract new players to Bosworth Academy. Kelsey recently qualified as a Table Tennis England Level 1 coach and is utilising her skills within the Winstanley Wizards club. As a valuable member of the club, Kelsey sits on the club’s management committee where she represents the young members.
