I recently visited Show Workstation in Sheffield who have recently purchased Table Tennis tables to display within their reception area and to enable businesses that hire out space to play as and when they want. Having spoken with the Business Centre Manager, Tom Wolfenden, he informed me the tables were being very well used, with on average 10 businesses per day playing on the tables and some of the businesses have actually had a meeting whilst chatting over a game of Table Tennis.
The tables have gone down really well and have been a great addition to the reception area for both the Showroom Workstation as a business and for the businesses hiring out the space, as the Showroom Workstation can promote the use of the table as part of their tenancy agreement with businesses.
In the coming months, the Showroom Workstation will be looking at bringing the 60-70 businesses that hire out space, to come together by being part of a Workplace Table Tennis League, with a ladder board being prepared to let the battle commence!
