Bishop Auckland Table Tennis Club has agreed a new sponsorship deal with Newton Aycliffe-based Ebac.

The deal will see Bishop Auckland sport the Ebac logo on the chest of their distinctive green and black kit.

The firm, which manufactures dehumidifiers and water coolers, have recently released a range of British-made washing machines.

BATTC Chairman, Matt Porter, welcomed Ebac’s sponsorship, saying:

This deal is fantastic for the club, it will allow us to continue to offer affordable access to sport. The shirts help develop a club strong club identity this help build team spirit and develop team work.

Bishop Auckland table tennis club is a great example of a club that delivers opportunity to a wide range of people throughout the Bishop Auckland area and we’re honoured to be associated with the club.

The club runs from the table tennis centre at Bishop Barrington school which offers 12 table tennis tables and top flooring, along with qualified coaches. The club runs sessions for all the community, including over-50s, adults, juniors and Disability sessions.
