To celebrate the day, which encouraged over 200 events nationally, members of the league ran a series of fun competitions such as Round the Table, Target Practice and Beat the Star!

Tables, bats and balls were provided to participants along with refreshments from the cafe based in the centre. The aim of the day was both the celebrate National Table Tennis Day and also to encourage new members to join the league, which is based across a number of venues in London including the Abbey Centre itself.

The London Banks and Civil Service Table Tennis League currently has 22 member clubs and is seeking new members to join. Membership is open to all, and no longer restricted to Banks and Civil Service departments.
