(Open to all age groups up to under 18)
The South East (Sussex, non-metropolitan Surrey and non-metropolitan Kent) Regional Assessment Day will be running on:
– Saturday 16th January 2016
– 12 noon to 5pm
– Cost £10
The session will be held at The College of Richard Collyer in Horsham (82 Hurst Road, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 2EJ).
The day will consist of a variety of exercises and games so the coaching staff can assess your level in a training environment and a competitive environment. We are looking to add players to our Regional Training Squads. We do not necessarily select the best players, we are looking for players that show good potential. Things we consider; parental support, dedication, personality (fitting in with teams / groups), work rate, playing level to name a few. The assessment day is usually held earlier in the season but this has been delayed largely due to clashes with other table tennis events.
Whether you’ve only been playing 6 months, or 6 years we want to see you. We will be having a short break for lunch but this is only likely to be for 30 minutes around 1.30. Would all players please ensure they bring sufficient food and drink with them for the day.
