There were five STAG Horsham Spinners tournaments from November 2019 to January 2020 and this is a round-up of all of the results. Draw sheets & photos of the medallists are included below.

First up was the 1st STAG Horsham Spinners Senior and Veteran 1 Star on November 3. Phil Snelson (Sy) went one better than his No 2 seeding to win both events, defeating No 1 seed Rory Scott (IRL) in both finals. Snelson won £100 for the Open, with Scott pocketing £50.

In the Open the losing semi-finalists were Graham Beaney (Sx) & Andy Prince (Ha), while in the Veterans the losing semi-finalists were Fawzi Yousif (Sx) and Alex Aston. In the Senior event, Beaney was the winner and Sally Hughes (Sx) was the runner-up in a round-robin.

Next up was the 1st STAG Horsham Spinners Cadet/Junior 2 Star, which attracted a large entry of 63 players.

Ralphy Pattison (E) won both the U12s and the U13s. Second and third place in U12s went to Daniyal Palmer (Sy) and Sam Gabriel (Mi) respectively, while the corresponding positions in U13s were taken by Louis Vaughan-Drake (Sx) and Gabriel again.

In the U14s the top three were Krish Chotai (Sy), George Noel (Sy) and Christopher Ho (Wa) and the top three in U15s were Jack Roberts (K), Chotai and Ho respectively.

The medallists in the U17s were: Jaden Aulakh (E) with gold, Jamar McGlashan (Sx) with silver and Roberts with bronze. For the U18s, the gold and silver medals were reversed and Will Agombar (Ha) took the bronze. James Pettigrew presented the afternoon medals.

The following event was the 2nd STAG Horsham Spinners Senior and Veteran 1 Star on December 8. On this occasion Scott regained his Veterans title, beating Chris Marlow (He) in the final, but in the Open final Brandon Bennett (Sx) exacted revenge on Scott for defeat in the 2 Star final in June by winning 3-2.

Losing semi-finalists in the Veterans were Cameron Brealey (Ha) and Ken Lewis (E) and in the Open it was Brealey again and Yousif. Bennett also won the seniors title at the expense of second-placed Charlie Usher (Sx) in a round-robin.

The fourth event of the season was the 3rd STAG Horsham Spinners Senior and Veteran 1 Star on January 5. Scott proved too strong for all opposition on the day, not losing an end in the Veterans, beating Lewis in the final, and although losing some ends in the Open, was largely untroubled, beating Roger Pingram (K) in the final 3-1. Losing semi-finalists in the Veterans were Bob Lowe (Sx) and Pingram and in the Open it was Lewis and Mina Matta.

The fifth event of the season was the 4th STAG Horsham Spinners Senior and Veteran 1 Star on January 12. Scott again won the Veterans, although was pushed to five games in the final by second seed Snelson.

Newcomer Mircea Neagu (Bk) won both the Seniors and the Open. He beat Beaney 3-0 in the Seniors final, but had a much tougher time in the Open final, only emerging the winner 12-10 in the fifth versus Harry Yip (Sx).

Losing semi-finalists in the Veterans were Alan Stone (Sx) and Lewis, in the Seniors it was Bennett & Hughes and in the Open it was Scott and Snelson.
