Evie Collier was eliminated in the group stage of the Swiss Open despite picking up a good victory over the host nation’s Celine Reust.
Collier beat the world No 365 3-1 (11-9, 6-11, 11-6, 11-9) at the event in Lausanne.
However, 3-0 defeats to world No 184 Ievgeniia Vasylieva of Ukraine (11-2, 11-4, 11-3) and Wang Miao of Azerbaijan (11-8, 11-4, 11-2), most recently ranked at No 262, meant she was knocked out.
