Tom Jarvis is top seed for the defence of his Junior National Cup boys’ title this weekend, but there will be a new girls’ champion.

Jarvis won the inaugural event, which replaced the Junior Masters, last year and will be going for a repeat triumph at Milton Keynes TTC.

He will be up against nine of the other top juniors in the country in a round-robin format across the two days. Luke Savill and Matt Leete complete the top three seeds.

In the girls’ event, last year’s champion Emily Bolton is now not eligible, and neither is Tin-Tin Ho. Denise Payet is the top seed, followed by Kate Cheer and Gauri Duhan.

The event gets under way at 11am on Saturday and there will be regular updates on our Twitter page and website.
