The Jack Petchey Foundation have recently hosted a series of digital meetings between young people, MPs and London Assembly members about young people’s experiences of lockdown and their hopes for the future.

One of the topics discussed was the Government’s Catch Up Premium, a fund for school students to help them catch up on the education they have missed since schools first closed in March 2020.

The Government is keen to know how school students themselves think this fund should be spent to support young people’s education in the near future. As a result, the Jack Petchey Foundation have put together a brief survey for young people aged 11-19 asking them what they think should be done.

The survey is open for 1 week, takes around 3-4 minutes to complete and they would like as many young people as possible to have their voices heard.

All students who complete the survey will be entered into a prize draw for a £20 voucher of their choice.

Jack Petchey Foundation

Established in 1999, the Jack Petchey Foundation makes grants to programmes and projects that benefit young people aged 11-25.

The geographical focus of its work is London and Essex. Since it has been established the Foundation has awarded grants totalling over £100 million.
