Liam Pitchford’s Falcons TTC are into the semi-finals of the Ultimate Table Tennis League after a 17-10 victory over DHFL Maharashtra United in their latest match.
With the Falcons needing seven points to guarantee their spot in the last four, Pitchford gave them the perfect start in match one with a 3-0 (11-6, 11-4, 11-9) defeat of Harmeet Desai.

And the Falcons were soon to their target of seven points, going on to win the nine-match contest 17-10, with Pitchford adding another point to the total despite a 2-1 defeat to Wong Chun Ting in match eight.
The semi-finals take place on Friday and Saturday.
