New Milton TTC have become the latest in a batch of clubs to complete the Clubmark accreditation process.

Working with Table Tennis England assessor Lee Monk, club treasurer and press officer Malcolm Floyd, ensured the accreditation was completed as efficiently as possible and managed to complete in just six weeks.

The Christchurch-based club first achieved Clubmark in 2010 and re-accreditation in 2014. Table Tennis England would like to congratulate the Club on achieving the accreditation for a third time.

Malcolm said:

I found the new system very easy to use, and would like to thank our Clubmark assessor Lee Monk for his tremendous support throughout the process.

Clubmark stands for higher standards of welfare, equity, coaching and management in community sports Clubs. It shows that a club provides the right environment which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives.

An accredited club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they are choosing the right club for their young people.

Since Table Tennis England adopted the new Sport England portal for Clubmark accreditation in November, five table tennis clubs have worked hard to demonstrate the set criteria and successfully complete the cross-sport accreditation.
