England will face Sweden next Monday in a practice match ahead of the World Championships.

The practice match has been arranged by the 2018 WTTC Halmstad organisation and will start at 10.45am (UK time) on Monday 22 May.

Paul Drinkhall, Liam Pitchford, Sam Walker and David McBeath will all be involved.

Taking place behind closed doors at Halmstad Theatre in Sweden, the format is unusual, with matches over two games and the result depending on the total games won by each country.

Multi-camera production will be streamed LIVE on the 2018 World Table Tennis Championships Facebook page.

The match takes place during a training camp for this year’s World Championships, which get underway in Düsseldorf on 29th May.
