Important proposed changes to Table Tennis England’s governance will be tabled at the forthcoming AGM.
The proposals are designed to ensure that Table Tennis England will comply with Sport England’s Code of Governance. Compliance with the code is mandatory in order to receive the funding allocation from Sport England.
The proposals cover the areas of National Council and the election of directors. They have been put forward by the Table Tennis England Board, which has worked closely with the National Council Working Party to draft them.
Table Tennis England Chairman Sandra Deaton has written a letter to National Councillors and League and County representatives to outline the proposal. Click here to read the letter in full.
Also at the AGM, the proposed affiliation fees for 2017/18 will be tabled. In line with the five-year strategy released last year, the proposed fees are:
Player Membership: £14 for adults; £7 for cadets & juniors.
Player Licence: £36 for adults; £18 for cadets & juniors
Associate Membership: free of charge.
The Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday July 8 at the Park Inn by Radisson, Mansfield Road, Nottingham, NG5 2BT commencing at 2pm.
