Tom Jarvis and Tin-Tin Ho were both eliminated from the World Junior Championships at the last 64 stage today.

Both had gone through to the knockout stage as group winners but could not add to their list of victories in Cape Town.

Ho, who was 19th seed, was beaten by the 34th-ranked American Amg Way, going down 4-2 (11-6, 11-9, 7-11, 11-6, 6-11, 11-7).

Jarvis, ranked 46th in the event, was drawn against the 24th seed Chien-Tu Huang of Taipei and was also beaten in six (12-14, 11-8, 11-5, 8-11, 11-9, 11-4).

Meanwhile, London Academy player Hiba Feredj has been representing Algeria at the event, but was eliminated in the group stage of the singles, having lost her two matches. She and mixed doubles partner Dean Shu of New Zealand went out in the first round of the mixed doubles to a Romanian duo.
