The North-East Club and Volunteer Conference took place at Durham County Cricket Ground on the 24th November. It was a chance for delegates from clubs, leagues, and counties to network and share best practices.
The event proved a success, with talks surrounding growing the game for women & girls, mass participation projects, and the opportunities for clubs and leagues to understand and work alongside the mass market. The conference also included an update regarding phase 1 of TT Kidz and plans for the launch of phase 2 for clubs across England.
The conference included a guest speaker, Carol Lewis, who delivered the Sport England Club Matters workshop on club structures. As well as a special presentation for Bishop Auckland TTC who won our social media competition following the announcement that Australia Table Tennis Association will be using the TT Kidz brand.
Next up is the South-East Club and Volunteer conference taking place at the Angel Centre, Tonbridge, on Sunday 19th January, which you can book your place now.
The event is free to attend, but booking is required and limited to two spaces per club/league.[button link=”https://tabletennisengland.co.uk/clubs/clubs-guidance/club-and-volunteer-conference-booking-process-and-timeline”]Book for Tonbridge[/button]
