Enter the Tees Sport Liverpool Grand Prix quickly as the closing date is Sunday 28th July 2013

The British Grand Prix season is back with the entry form ready and released for the first event of 2013/14 at the Tees Sport Liverpool Grand Prix (17/18th August 2013).

Summer has finally hit the shores of the British Isles but, before you embark on a desperate dash for sun, sea, sand and (probably) sunburn, make sure you get your entry in for the Tees Sport Liverpool Grand Prix, which will kick-off the 2013/14 season at the Lifestyles Tennis Centre in Wavertree.

This season will see a slightly increased Grand Prix Prize fund across the board with both individual Grand Prix event winners and Overall Season Champions benefitting from higher payouts. The total ‘Season Champions’ prize fund come to £11,312 with the best single payout heading to the Men’s Singles winner, who will collect a cool £1,545. This takes the total prize funds for the series to £19,968!

There is no change to the schedules for the 2013/14 season as the banded events remain the same on Saturdays while the Under-21s, Veterans and Doubles competitions remain in their place on Sunday.

Last year’s Tees Sport Liverpool Grand Prix kicked-off with Open Singles victories for Ireland’s Paul McCreery and Cleveland’s Karina Le Fevre after victories over Chris Doran (Np) and Ashley Givan (IRL) respectively. Le Fevre went on to win the Overall Women’s Singles prize while McCreery’s opponent Doran eventually sealed his maiden series title too.

Next season could see another close fight for titles with no clear favourites for the Men’s or Women’s Singles. Will a new victor be crowned or can one of the former champions regain their title? There’s only one way to find out and you can begin your journey today by signing up for the Tees Sport Liverpool Grand Prix below:
