Bobby Davro

Table tennis literally takes centre stage as comedian Bobby Davro stars in a London theatre production based on the sport.

Not a Game for Boys is a comedy-drama about a team of three London cabbies who compete in a local table tennis league.

The play, written by Simon Block, focuses on the events of one evening when the team must win in order to avoid the ignominy of relegation, and focuses on the relationships between the three as they strive for victory.

Former EastEnders star Davro leads the cast in the role of team captain Eddie, alongside Alan Drake and Oliver Joel.

They play is on at the King’s head Theatre from June 10 to July 5. Tickets are priced from £10-£25 and are available from the box office at kingsheadtheatre.com or on 0207 478 01600207 478 0160 .
