An unbeaten record will be ended this weekend as British League’s top four sides go head-to-head this weekend.

Urban TTC take on Drumchapel while Ormesby host Ormeau in a mouthwatering weekend of action in the country’s elite competition.

Defending champions Urban TTC have enjoyed a solid start to the season, but face arguably their biggest challenge to date against a Drumchapel side that agonisingly came up short against fellow title challengers Ormesby last time out.

Satoshi Aida, Daniel Kosiba and Daniel Schaffer and Alim Hirji have all been named in the squad for Urban, while Drumchapel are expected to also field a strong side including England ace David McBeath.

The game takes place at Barnet Table Tennis Club on Saturday (4 pm ko) Tickets can be bought here.

Meanwhile, Ormesby and Ormeau are both unbeaten, with the Northern Irish side flying and joint top with Urban, two points ahead of Cleveland giants Ormesby.

After an impressive debut against North Ayrshire, Lucas Molland will feature again and he will be joined by the recalled Gavin Maguire and Matt Ware.

Meanwhile, Ormesby star Tianming Zhao will be joined by England top ten ranked talents Helshan Weerasinghe and Danny Reed.

At the other end of the table, something has to give when Fusion take on North Ayrshire.

Both teams have endured tough starts to the season and have just two points to their name, but the two teams can kickstart their seasons when they face off on Saturday.

Colin Dalgleish. Chris Main and Zak Wilson will lead the line for the Scots, while Fusion’s team is unknown.

In the final match of the weekend, Cardiff make the trip to Essex to take on BATTS.

Alexis Mommessin and Hugo Batocchi, who starred for BATTS in their 4-1 win over Fusion, will both feature again, and they’ll be joined by highly-rated young prospect Ethan Walsh.
