The Bristol Grand Prix promises to be one of the biggest and busiest on record, after referee Steve Smith managed to accommodate all 224 entrants.
It had been thought the event would be over-subscribed and that some players would miss out, but Steve has worked tirelessly over the weekend to draft a schedule which means everyone who entered by the deadline can compete.
In order to find a workable schedule, the Men’s banded groups have been changed to three players, as per tournament regulation No 5. Two players will still qualify from the groups.
We are asking for the co-operation of all players at the event on November 15 and 16 to ensure the tournament runs smoothly. A notification email will be sent out to all players later this week – please take the time to read it carefully as it will contain important information to help make this happen.
The draw will be published on this website at the end of the week.
Players are advised to book early for the Nottingham GP to avoid possible disappointment.
