Table Tennis England is inviting clubs to apply for grants of up to £850 to develop new and creative sessions for young people aged 11-18.

The grants are part of the Satellite Club programme, for which Sport England has awarded Table Tennis England a further £140,000 to deliver over the next four years.

A satellite club is an extension, or outpost, of a community sports club developed to engage 11-to-18-year-olds.

Satellite clubs will seek to provide an opportunity for those young people who may dip in and out of sport to play regularly in an environment that suits them.

To be eligible for the grant, clubs must be able to run sessions for a minimum of 30 weeks and evidence plans to sustain beyond the initial funding period.

The application window will remain open until 30th September 2017 or until the 2017 funding allocation has been met (whichever is sooner).

If your club is interested in increasing engagement with young people via the satellite club scheme, please take a look at the guidance notes and application form for more information.

Alternatively, contact your local Development and Volunteering Officer to discuss your application.
