If so, why not nominate them for a Torch Trophy Trust Award?

The awards, now in their 53rd year, seek to reward people who have made a very significant contribution to the grassroots of sport on a voluntary basis and have received no previous national recognition.

Last year, table tennis was honoured to have two recipients – Paul Bovett and John Mullis.

The Trust will recognise 20 volunteers this year, with the selection process taking place in late December and the Awards being presented in March 2016 in the presence of a member of the Royal family.
