Alexandra Palace is set to be the host venue for the inaugural World Championship of Ping Pong where applicants are being invited to sign up now!

The famous Ally Pally in London will host the event on the 5th and 6th January 2013 with $100,000 prize fund available, including $20,000 for the overall Champion to take home.

World Championship of Ping Pong Entry Form

The competition is being produced by Matchroom Sport, the company behind PDC Darts and World Snooker, and it will be televised live throughout Sky Sports.

The World Championship of Ping Pong aims to catapult ping pong onto the international television scene.

The entry fee for this historic tournament will be £30 ($50) which will be asked for once your application has been accepted. Each successful applicant will also receive a free WCPP bat as well as four tickets to the event itself with a total value of £160.

Don’t forget though, the World Championship of Ping Pong is a hard bat tournament with the equipment used being old school sandpaper hard bats.
