The quarter-finals saw the departure of Hannah Hicks, Jessica Dawson and Lindsey Reynolds in straight sets all being dispatched 4-0, although the Hicks/Vickers match was closer than the score line would let you believe, Hicks not letting Vickers have an easy time. The closest game of the quarter-finals was between Natalie Slater and Karen Shepherd, going all the way to 7 ends before Slater took the win and line up against Kelly Sibley in the semis.
