Vote for Davies as IPC Athlete of the Month

Team GB’s Robert Davies has become one of six nominees for the International Paralympic Committee’s (IPC) October Athlete of the Month.

The Welshman has been added to the competition’s shortlist following an excellent month in which he has become the new World’s No. 1 after winning gold in the Men’s Singles Class 1 event at the ITTF Para Table Tennis European Championships in Lignano, Italy. Davies also recently won the Class 1 Singles at the Belgian Open as a display of the rich vein of form that he has hit.

In order to win the IPC’s accolade, the 29-year-old now relies on your votes to take him past the other athletes competing for the prize. Also up for the award is fellow table tennis player Panfeng Feng from China as well as Natacha Hiltrop (GER, shooting), Witsanu Huadpradit (Thailand, boccia), Jonas Jacobsson (SWE, shooting) and Seung-Hwan Jung (KOR, Ice Sledge Hockey).
