There were increased numbers over last year, with six turning out for the title chase, Sanja Clements, last years women’s doubles runner up topped group 1, with Jackie Williams topping the second group.

Semi-finals

It was first played second out of both groups, with Clements facing Penny Perry and Williams against Eileen Shaler, but it was the group winners that came out on top

Finals

After dropping the first end to Williams, Clements took the next too after relatively close matches, finally finishing in style 11-3 in the fourth.
