Subsequent to discussions held at April National Council, it was agreed to discuss the reduction or removal of Table Tennis News at the July National Council meeting. After discussion it was put to the vote and the result was 17-12 in favour of scrapping the magazine. The motion was carried.

Following on from the decision of the ITTF to cease publication of their own magazine earlier this year, this means that there will no longer be any enhanced category of license – there will only be the basic level of Player Licence and neither the Silver or Gold level of licences will be available for the 2010/2011 season.

Any Licence holders who have already renewed at the Silver level will receive a refund of the difference between the Basic licence and the Silver licence, in due course.
