Table Tennis England’s TT Leagues platform, developed alongside Rocca Creative, has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.

It is one of six software solutions in line to win the Best Operations, Commerce and Event Management Technology category at the 2021 Sports Technology Awards.

TT Leagues was launched in July 2019, with continuous improvements to both the website and app since then.

Most recently, the local rankings functionality has been added to the platform and further upgrades are currently in development.

During the 2019/20 season, more than 35,000 matches in more than 150 leagues were recorded on the platform, despite many leagues being cut short by the pandemic. More than 16,500 players are competing in leagues which use the platform.

Table Tennis England Head of Operations, Jo Keay-Blyth, said: “Rocca Creative have been a joy to work with, driving continual improvements to the platform and at all stages taking on board the feedback of league administrators.

“When we are finally able to resume play, our leagues can be assured they have free access to an unrivalled league management platform. Rocca thoroughly deserve this accolade.”

Rocca Creative Chief Executive Marc Rocca said: “We’re absolutely delighted about being shortlisted for the Sports Technology Awards for the TT Leagues platform.

“The recognition is testimony to the amazing and ongoing working partnership that we have with Table Tennis England, and their dedication to providing class-leading software to their members.”

The Sports Technology Awards shortlist features 117 brands, 30 sports, 19 sports bodies, 10 broadcasters and nine tournaments, along with a myriad of technology brands of all sizes.

Owing to the current social restrictions, the Awards ceremony will be staged virtually this year at 4pm on Thursday May 6.
