TT Kidz is here! Our new eight-week programme designed to get more 7-to-11-year-olds into table tennis was officially launched at the National Club, Coach and Volunteer Conference in Leicester.

Delegates were the first to see the promotional video, which you can watch below, and the next steps of the scheme were outlined.

Five pilot areas have been chosen to host the very first TT Kidz sessions. They are:

Ackworth TTC (Pontefract, Yorkshire)
Bishop Auckland TTC (County Durham)
Nottingham Sycamore TTC (Gedling, Nottinghamshire)
Wensum TTC (Norwich, Norfolk)
Torbay TTA (Devon)

TT Kidz will roll out across the country in October 2019.

TT Kidz is an eight-week programme developed by Table Tennis England to provide youngsters with an inspiring, engaging and fun first experience in the sport. The central aims are:

  • To provide young people with an inspiring, engaging and fun first experience in the sport
  • To enable us to build national partnerships with organisations that can help take the sport to more young people
  • To provide clubs and coaches with a more attractive programme to take into schools and community groups to enhance a table tennis offer
  • To engage new young coaches/activators in the sport

Once signed up, all TT Kidz will receive their very own TT Kidz kit bag, holding everything they need to get started – including TT Kidz T-shirt, bat, balls and activity book/sticker album.

The programme is great value at just £40, which will include all the kit.

Places at the pilot schemes are expected to fill up fast. For more information or to book, click here to visit the TT Kidz homepage.
