Close to 300 children across 29 venues will be beginning their table tennis journey with the latest phase of the TT Kidz programme which starts next week.

The clubs running the programme have been supported with recruitment through marketing support including Facebook Ads as well as leaflets, posters, a digital toolkit for their own social media and an easy to use centralised booking system.

The children, as part of the package receive a TT Kidz kit bag containing a t-shirt, bat, balls and activity book as well as eight sessions covering forehands, backhands serves and games.

Clubs delivering the programme are provided with lesson plans as well as videos for the activities as well as training.

Youth Participation Lead Chris Turner ‘We’ve seen a great response to this latest phase demonstrating the strength of the TT Kidz programme as well as the fact that table tennis is a sport children are intrigued by and want to try.  The clubs have done a great job in working with local schools and networks in recruiting children which highlights that with the strength of the TT Kidz brand combined with local recruitment TT Kidz has the potential to attract lots of new children into table tennis.  If any club is looking to attract new children aged 7-11 into their set up I would highly encourage them to look into running a TT Kidz programme.’

TT Kidz operate two phases per year, Autumn and Spring with the Spring 2022 phase starting w/c 31st January.  If you would like to find out more about what’s involved with running TT Kidz please register your interest for the Spring Phase below.
