Tin-Tin Ho and her Austrian partner Karoline Mischek booked a place in the doubles semi-finals at the European Under-21 Championships thanks to a stunning comeback against the second seeds.

Ho & Mischek found themselves 2-0 down to Adina Diaconu & Andreea Dragoman of Romania, though both games had been close, particularly the second, which they lost 13-11.

But they turned it around in fantastic style, taking the next three games 5, 7, 7 and they now face Xuan Xhang of Spain and France’s Audrey Zarif, the fifth seeds, in the last four at 10am on Sunday.

Earlier, Ho & Mischek had fewer dramas in their last 16 match against Croatian pair Klara Cakol & Marta Vukelic, which they won in three straight – though the second and third games both went to deuce.

However, Ho was beaten in the last 16 of the singles, going down in six games to Oceane Guisnel of France.
