The 2013/14 Grand Prix series roars back into action this weekend (April 5-6th) with crucial end-of-season points on offer at the Tees Sport Blackpool Grand Prix, Blackpool Sports Centre (FY3 9HQ).

Blackpool represents the penultimate chance for any player keen to improve their position ahead of the prize awards at the Bribar London Grand Prix on May 3-4th, 2014 (enter here).

Full points are on offer for the 162 entrants to Blackpool and, with only the 8th NatWest Jersey Open (satellite points) and Bribar London GP remaining, the trip to the North West could become vital in securing top spot (and top dollar) in this season’s standings.

Seemingly this won’t be an issue for Welshman Ryan Jenkins, who held a comfortable lead in the Men’s Singles following the Nottingham GP, although he will face tough challenges from Chris Doran, Craig Howieson and Mike O’Driscoll among others*.

The Women’s Singles, a much closer affair, is well-and-truly up for grabs with any of Karina Le Fevre, Gillian Edwards, Natalie Slater or Nicole Hall having the ability to take huge strides at the Tees Sport Blackpool GP in achieving a big money finish this season.
