England have named the strongest available line-up for their home European Championships, Stage One matches next month.

With Liam Pitchford not able to play due to club commitments, the men’s squad to face Serbia is led by Paul Drinkhall and also includes Sam Walker, David McBeath and Tom Jarvis.

England women face Greece on the same night, and their squad comprises Tin-Tin Ho, Maria Tsaptsinos, Denise Payet and Charlotte Bardsley.

The double-header is at Medway Park, Gillingham, on Tuesday November 20, starting at 6pm. Tickets are now on sale, starting at just £3.

The matches are England’s final group ties of Stage One, with the women sitting top of their group having won home and away against Norway and away to Greece. The men completed two victories over Bosnia-Herzegovina but a surprise defeat in Serbia means they need a convincing 3-0 win to top their group.
