Deighton TTC has underlined its continued development by running two playing and coaching programmes throughout the summer.
It is the first time the Huddersfield club, which has three Level 2 UKCC coaches and one Level 1 coach, has been able to do so.
The Deighton midweek programme has seen all of the club’s eight tables in full use on Tuesday mornings, with players of all ages playing and receiving coaching from Godfrey Gabriel and Naila Malik.
The club’s other summer programme for groups with disabilities also proved to be a great success as the club’s learning disability group has now expanded to encompass hearing impairment and wheelchair users. This programme has also used all eight tables.
The summer programme was planned and co-ordinated by Deighton TTC lead coach Paul Simpson.
