The deadline for entry to the South Shields Grand Prix has been extended until next Tuesday, September 23rd.
South Shields is the third stop on this year’s circuit and the town is hosting its first Grand Prix.
Among those already confirmed to take part are Chris Doran, who has won the previous two events in Liverpool and Medway, and Scotland’s Gavin Rumgay, who Doran beat in a scintillating final at Liverpool (click here for video highlights).
Rumgay’s Scotland colleague Craig Howieson and Kim Daybell, fresh from competing at the Para Table Tennis World Championships in Beijing, are also among the entries.
Abbie Milwain, who won in Liverpool, leads the women’s entry along with Commonwealth Games Team England player Karina Le Fevre.
