The Grand Prix circuit breaks new ground next month when it arrives in South Shields for the first time.

And it will be a historic double at the venue at Temple Park Centre in John Reid Road as it will be the first GP event to be played using the new plastic ball.

The South Shields GP on October 4th & 5th replaces the series regular Newcastle, as the venue there is no longer available.

There are also likely to be two new champions – last year’s Newcastle Men’s Singles winner Ryan Jenkins has retired, while Women’s Singles champion Sarah Berge has not entered and is yet to appear on the GP circuit this season.

If you want to be a part of this historic occasion, you have two days left to enter before the closing date of September 17.

And remember – female and male players get equal prize money at the Grand Prix events.

Please click here for the entry form. Please note, we will confirm exact details of the ball to be used in the next few days.
