The opening weekend of the Senior British League, Premier Division season is among the latest batch of events to be cancelled because of ongoing coronavirus restrictions.

The first round of fixtures was due to take place on October 31 but will not now be held.

Other competitions to have been cancelled in line with our coronavirus cancellation policy for national events and leagues are:

• National Cadet League (1) on November 8
• National Junior League (1 – Morpeth only) on November 8
• Over-60s County Championships Premier (1) on November 7-8
• Over-60s County Championships Division One (1) on November 7

Decisions on all of these have been made six weeks in advance of the events.
