Four of England’s most talented youngsters will be heading to China this summer for a month-long training camp where they will benefit from the world’s best coaching system.
Cadets Marcus Giles, Tom Jarvis, Tin-Tin Ho and junior Helshan Weerasinghe will head to the annual summer school at the China Table Tennis College from 22nd July to 21st August 2013 – an event that has previously been attended by England’s four-time National Champion, Paul Drinkhall.
The youngsters will receive coaching from the top Chinese staff along with other international players from around the world. They will gain valuable technical and tactical advice in a concentrated environment, which will help their development ahead of the new season.
English coach Jia Yi Liu will be present for the duration of the camp while Nick Jarvis will attend the second half of proceedings.
