The table tennis family has rallied together to ensure the incredible voluntary efforts of individuals and organisations up and down the country do not go unnoticed. We have received more than 150 nominations to our Pride of Table Tennis Awards, which celebrate and honour the fantastic contributions that have been made in such challenging times.

From our army of Local Lockdown Heroes who have ensured communities have stayed connected and active, to Clubs and Leagues ensuring a safe return to play, this year’s Pride of Table Tennis Awards nominations are an impressive array of volunteering dedication.

Johnathon Driscoll, who leads the Pride of Table Tennis Awards for Table Tennis England, said: “The standard of nominations this year has been truly inspirational. It is the testament of the table tennis community for so many to come together to recognise and thank those who have gone above and beyond in a time of profound uncertainty.

“The dedication, resilience and contribution from people, clubs, leagues schools, local communities and organisations over the last 12 months has been outstanding and we are glad the Pride of Table Tennis Awards provides a platform to give them the recognition they thoroughly deserve.”

This years Pride of Table Tennis Awards are being celebrated at local, regional and national level to ensure volunteers, our sport’s lifeblood, are honoured.  Those nominated at local level (Club and League Volunteers and Young Volunteers) alongside this year’s new award, Local Lockdown Hero, will be awarded a certificate to recognise and celebrate their achievements.
