Pongathon celebrates its first birthday with the chance to win a year’s free playing time!

Pongathon is celebrating its 1st year anniversary with a party at Richmix, Bethnal Green next Monday 5th November.

Alongisde all the usual musical, artistic and sporting entertainment on show, Pongathon will also have a range of competitions encompassing both sporting and social accomplishments – one of which could win you a year of free table time at the venue.

Adrian Leigh, MD of Pongathon, said: “We have come a long way since our first Guinness World record attempt for the longest ping pong rally. Over two thousand people have played and partied at Pongathon and more than half that number has challenged the Pongbot.

“We have thrown parties for Google, Sainsbury’s and NatWest hosted PUMA YARD during the Olympics and even produced one of the biggest social ping pong tournament in the UK for PING! at Central St. Martins in Kings Cross.

“To celebrate our first year of off-the-wall ping pong shenanigans at Pongathon, we will be giving away one whole year of FREE table time! The Blindfold Pongbot Challenge will be a challenge to return as many balls against the Pongbot – blindfolded!”

There are over 15 tables at Richmix for anyone to book in advance at www.pongathon.com or www.facebook.com/pongathon. Pongathon hosts will also be on hand to score, adjudicate and help get the party started during the big anniversary celebrations.
