MOST PLAYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN A SINGLE RALLY
OCTOBER 24TH – RICHMIX, SHOREDITCH, LONDON

Pongathon, a new table tennis events concept, is going to attempt to break the official Guinness World Record for the most players to participate in a single rally. The record currently stands at 101 players held by the Shanghai’s Cao Yanhua table tennis training school set in 2010.
Pongathon are looking for players to officially participate in helping to smash the world record and bring it back to London ahead of the Olympic Games in 2012. If you would like to participate in the World Record attempt PLEASE email: ‘Pongathon World Record Attempt’ together with your full name to [email protected] (First 150 players will be selected and sent instructions from the Pongathon team)

Representatives of the ETTA will be present to help authenticate the attempt which will also be recorded on film for verification. One player will consecutively feed each participant who will strike the ball once only before the player behind takes over. We are allowed several attempts within the space of one hour if we need them! Members of the media will attend and Pongathon have asked Boris Johnson, Mayor of London to strike the first ball!
There will be tables available to play on after the attempt and a complimentary drink for each player + Pongathon headbands and wristbands! Come and make a little bit of table tennis history!
