Daniel (danny) Reed has made numerous Senior England appearances but none better than at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, 2010 where he helped the team to a silver medal. He is currently ranked as England’s number four.

Who are you?

I am a 21 year old international table tennis player, having played for England since I was 14 as a junior and 17 as a senior. I have been Commonwealth Games Silver medalist in 2010, national champion in doubles in 2011 and European Youth Gold medalist in 2007.

When/how did you get involved with table tennis:

When I was 10 in my local Primary school, Hutton Rudby.

What does the Olympics mean to you?

It has been my dream to compete in the Olympics since I was young, and to compete in London 2012 would be an unbelievable feeling with a home crowd and extra strong team spirit.
