Who are you?

I play table tennis for my island, Guernsey and regularly train in Germany and Sheffield hoping to compete in the London 2012 Olympics. I competed in the Junior Olympics last year in Singapore and thouroughly enjoyed it. I am currently studing 3 A levels, German French and English at the Guernsey Grammar School.

Proudest moment:

Qualifying for the junior olympics and winning a gold medal at the island games on my 13th birthday.

When/how did you get involved with table tennis:

When I was eight years old. My cousin played table tennis and as we had a table at home, I played with him a few times and really enjoyed it. So I went to a taster session and the coach there asked me to go to regular training sessions.

What does the Olympics mean to you?

It is something I have always wanted to be a part of. It is the biggest sporting competition and it would mean the world to me to be able to participate.
