Only a few places remain for the Hereford 2 star Vets and Senior competition next weekend (August 11-12), and the entry deadline has been extended until Thursday.

The Senior competition on the Sunday has a prize fund of £750 – as long as the maximum number of 54 competitors is reached. The winner would take £400.

Entrants are guaranteed plenty of matches as the Seniors competition starts with groups of three, with a second round comprising groups of six and then into quarter-finals.

The Veterans’ competition on the Saturday has two rounds of groups of five, followed by quarter-finals.
