Ping Pong Power arrives at William Penn Leisure Centre with customers, staff and mascots alike welcomed to pick up a bat and have a go!

The centre, managed by the charitable trust Hertsmere Leisure, will be challenging their staff to find the most bizarre places to play showing that table tennis can be played anytime and anywhere.

For the competitive amongst you there will also be a plastic cup challenge where your accuracy is tested to knock as many down in the time allocated – the winner receiving a £10 voucher for sportswear!

Scott Beattie, General Manager at William Penn Leisure Centre, said: “There will be a table in the reception/café area for show offs, and for those who just want to try this fantastic game, there will be free play tables in the sports hall – our centre mascot, Penny the Penguin, will be taking part also!”

The event takes place from 12:30 – 16:30 on Thursday 17th July at Shepherds Lane, Rickmansworth, Herts. WD3 8JN
