Innovative street table tennis project Ping! has made the final of the National Lottery Good Causes Sports Awards 2013 and is asking for your help in the final push for the top spot.

Ping! is competing against six other sporting programmes and needs your votes to receive the trophy and an additional £2,000 of funding towards the project.

The National Lottery Good Causes was set-up in 1994 and since then more than £30 billion has been raised, funding over 400,000 projects in that time.

Ping! has been described as ‘an ambitious programme which combines arts, sports and wild imagination’. It has helped to boost the sport’s profile and popularity in locations ranging from Liverpool to Leicester and Brighton to Bristol by providing free access to tables, bats and balls for the public to enjoy.

In 2012 more than 350,000 people took part in the programme which promoted community participation in people of all ages and backgrounds.

Now you can do your part to help Ping! by voting on the National Lottery Website here.

Hurry because voting closes on 24th July!
